Meanwhile, Back in Asia...

While Emilie was gallivanting around Spain, Dustin, Chris and I took a trip to Dustin's favorite country to date - Malaysia!

After talking to a few friends from Malaysia, we  headed to the island of Penang. We were able to relax at the beach, but also got to explore another UNESCO World Heritage site, Georgetown, Malaysia.

Dustin had a great time taking the train up Penang Hill.
Check out the amazing view!
Despite the view hindering fog, we had fun exploring the top of Penang Hill.

And we were only 14,864KM (9225 Miles) from New York!
While in Georgetown, we toured Little India and stopped for some AMAZING Indian Food!

At the Penang Butterfly Farm, Chris and I learned that our four year old is TERRIFIED of butterflies (but the kid has no fear of Komodo Dragons because, you know, they're so much less threatening than butterflies)!
Our next stop was the extremely overpriced Penang Toy Museum.  Please, please, please don't waste your time and money if you ever get to Penang! However, we did learn that Dustin is NOT afraid of giant action figures encased in glass.

We were lucky enough to stay at a very kid friendly hotel. Dustin loved hanging out at the pool and spent a little time trying out all the slides!

And of course there was the Beach!!! We played in the sand, jumped the waves, and watched the beautiful sunsets. Dustin even made a friend to play with - they didn't speak the same language, but at the beach little things like that don't really matter.
We had a great time and can't wait to get back to Penang & Georgetown - with Emilie next time!
