Emilie is officially 12 years old! One more year until she is a teenager - AHHHH!!!
Her day started off with a little balloon rain when she opened her bedroom door to find a pile of balloons caving in on her!
She was surprised to find so many presents sent from friends and family back home!
As is the tradition, Emilie chose sushi for her birthday dinner (thankfully, sushi is much cheaper here!). We enjoyed a delicious sushi dinner and then she was greeted with a sushi roll cake complete with a (somewhat) English version of Happy Birthday song by the staff at Sushi Groove.
After her sushi cake, she was given an ice cream sundae completely with more candles and corn flakes!
Once back to the apartment, we finished up her big birthday by putting up our Christmas tree.
