In Jakarta, there are malls EVERYWHERE. Each mall is a little different, but they all seem to have a grocery store, a movie theater, and an Ace Hardware in common. They are also all at least 5 stories tall.

There is always something special going on at each of the malls. There are different types of demonstrations or displays. Some of the malls even have special concerts or shows. During
Idul Fitri, there was a giant mosque made entirely out of gummy bears in the center of Pondok Indah Mall (This is the closest mall to us).

Not only does the FX have a grocery store, a movie theater, and Ace Hardware, but it also has a hotel and the longest dry slide in the world! One afternoon, Emilie got to try out this 46 Meter long slide for herself (Dustin isn't quite tall enough yet). She went up to the 7th floor, got suited up in the required jacket and helmet, and rode the slide all the way down to the 3rd floor!
